We believe as stated in Scripture,
II Timothy 3:16- All scripture is given by inspiration of God and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.
We believe the Church is composed of baptized believers in Jesus Christ, who share a personal commitment to Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. It is to be a redemptive body in Christ, promulgating the gospel and promoting the brotherhood of man under God through the power of the Holy Spirit, growing towards Christian maturity through worship in:
- Spirit and in Truth- John 4:23-24
- Nurture and Christian Development
- Unifying of the Body; Guardians of the Truth- Ephesians 4:11-15
- Worship and Ministry- II Corinthians 13:5-10
The Bible
The Bible is the Divine Book that was written by men divinely inspired at the dictation of the Holy Spirit, and it is good for correction, discovery, reproof, and the message of Salvation.
II Timothy 3:16; All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable of doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.
Salvation
We believe that the way of Salvation is only through Jesus Christ who was born of a virgin and took on a human body like ours to fulfill the Law, and brought grace and salvation to all that accept Him as the only begotten Son of God.
Ephesians 2:8; By grace are ye saved. John 3:16; For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Baptism
There are two Baptism’s involved in one’s salvation of Christ Jesus as Saviour.
First, there is the baptism of the Holy Spirit. It is a conversion to put man into the Kingdom of God.
Secondly, there is the Christian Baptism that means to dip, submerge, and cover in water. It is symbolic of the burying of the old you and the resurrection of the new you in Christ Jesus. It is an outward show of an inner experience.
Matthew 28:19; Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.
Ephesians 4:5; One Lord, one faith, one baptism.
